Acclaimed writer Lisa Loomer cuts through the headlines of the landmark 1973 case, Roe v. Wade, to reveal the divergent personal journeys of lawyer Sarah Weddington and plaintiff Norma McCorvey ("Jane Roe") in the years following the fateful decision. Belleville

Presented by the Girls of St. Catherine's

The St. Catherine's drama club is struggling to put up its first school play—Sophocles' Antigone. As if staging this tragedy in an all girls’ Catholic school isn’t challenging enough, the cast’s beloved director ends up betraying them in an unforgivable way. And it’s almost opening night! Let Me Be: Grandma, Mamma, and Me

The show is about grief, matriarchal relationships, death and folklore. Using two popular folklore tales from the central region of Uganda, the story follows four women as they navigate their understanding of what it means to lose a loved one, what it means to be a woman in a third-world country, what it means to leave and return, and what it means to be a daughter.
