As a higher education professional and a first-generation college student who faced challenges in finding a sense of belonging on campus, I am committed to supporting students through their transition from high school to college. My hope is to offer guidance, mentorship, and a nurturing environment for residents that promotes their academic and personal growth. I believe that by empowering students to take charge of their education, we help them build the skills and confidence necessary to excel in college and beyond.
My personal experience with the difficulties of adapting to college life and seeking community has fueled my passion for helping students who may feel lost or overwhelmed. I understand the importance of creating as atmosphere where every student feels valued and supported. My aim is to ensure they can find their place and flourish as independent, resilient individuals.

Helping students adjust to living away from home and taking responsibility for their educational journey is central to my work. Seeing them grow and overcome obstacles is immensely rewarding and motivates my dedication to this field.
Ultimately, my goal is to provide each resident with a positive, enriching college experience that lays the groundwork for lifelong success and personal development.

"The most important lesson I learned from living on campus was gaining insights from individuals with diverse experiences and perspectives and using this understanding to build stronger working relationships with others." -Tasha

Someone that has impacted me

My sister's profound impact on me stems from her unwavering dedication and relentless pursuit of her goals. Witnessing her journey has taught me that regardless of our starting points in life, it is our persistence and commitment that ultimately determine our level of success. She has shown me that with resilience and determination, we can surpass our own expectations and achieve success we may have never thought before obtainable.
