Center for Analytics, Research & Transportation Safety
We collect, maintain, analyze, and distribute crash data to support public policy decisions in Louisiana. Through a grant obtained from the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, we developed a software program, LACRASH, which revolutionized the way traffic accidents are reported.
Center for Internal Auditing
LSU was endorsed by the Institute of Internal Auditors as the Pilot School in 1985 to develop an innovative educational program in internal auditing. Today LSUCIA is a center in the IIA Internal Audit Education Partnership Program. The program recruits students from many different business and non-business majors.
Professional Sales Institute
The Professional Sales Institute (PSI) is a partnership between LSU and industry, dedicated to the discovery and dissemination of sales knowledge, and to the development of professional sales leaders.
Real Estate Research Institute
The Real Estate Research Institute studies trends in the Louisiana real estate market for the benefit of growth and development throughout the state. Established in part with funds from the Louisiana Real Estate Commission in 1985, various private sources and grants have provided continued funding for the institute.
Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute
The Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute offers a number of programs and events designed to promote innovative approaches to identifying needs and solving problems through an entrepreneurial view of opportunity, recognition, and realization.

Economics & Policy Research Group
The LSU Economics & Policy Research Group was recently formed out of the LSU Division of Economic Development to build on and expand our capacity to carry out high-quality applied economics research here at LSU. We are an applied economics research group based in the Department of Economics with full-time faculty and staff dedicated to externally funded research.
