Through a partnership with the Capital Area Native Plant Society (CANPS) and the Louisiana Master Naturalist of Greater Baton Rouge (LMNGBR) we are proud to offer exciting “Discover Nature” programs featuring local and national experts that are in touch with nature and are eager to share their experiences. All programs will be in the Imo Brown Complex in the Beverly Brown Coates Auditorium. For members of Hilltop, CANPS and LMNGBR the fee is $10 per program, $15 for non-members. For Hilltop Members at the Magnolia ($250) level or above, the programs are free.
This course provides individuals a foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate emergency medical services (EMS) response.
The Louisiana Certified Habitat program recognizes the efforts of Louisiana residents, schools and organizations to conserve our natural heritage. The goal of this program is to encourage property owners and managers to increase and protect the ecological value of their land to benefit wildlife and natural systems.
