Research Interest

Primary areas of research include: (1) clinical aspects of veterinary anaphylaxis and (2) coagulation derangements, specifically, as relating to viscoelastic coagulation testing.

Teaching Interest

Teaching interests focus on demonstrating the relationship of physiology and basic sciences to the clinical picture of patients and promoting an understanding of pattern recognition as it pertains to disease behavior. 

Clinical Interest

Clinical interests include management of acute trauma, severe sepsis, and anaphylaxis as well as the diagnosis and treatment of coagulation derangements and viscoelastic coagulation evaluation.
