A Research Experience for Undergraduates
Smart Polymer Composite Materials and Structures is a Research Experience for Undergraduates
(REU) program. Faculty from the departments of chemistry, mechanical engineering,
and architecture will mentor students. Students will participate in research projects,
professional development, research facility tours, and have opportunities to present
their research. We especially seek applications from women and groups traditionally
historically underrepresented in STEM disciplines.

Enrolled in an undergraduate program at a two- or four-year institution | On-campus housing |

Important Dates
- February 22, 2023
Screening of applications will begin and will continue until all spots are filled- Applications submitted on or before March 6th will be considered but subject to availability
- May 22 - July 29, 2023
