Hyojung Park earned her doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Journalism with a focus on strategic communication and joined the LSU faculty in 2012. Park teaches public relations, strategic communication, crisis communication and research methods. Her primary research interests are branding, relationship management, corporate social responsibility, risk and crisis communication, and health communication. Her work has been published in top-tier journals, such as Journal of Health Communication, New Media and Society, Journalism and Mass Communication Quarterly, and Journal of Public Relations Research.
