Materials Manufacturing, Testing, and Evaluation Facility (MMTEF)
The Materials Manufacturing, Testing, and Evaluation Facility (MMTEF) at Louisiana State University consists of a 6,000 square-foot facility capable of mechanical testing and non-destructive evaluation of materials, replication-based micro- and nano-fabricsation, thin-film/coating manufacturing, and alloy powder synthesis. The MMTEF is a founding member of the Central Users Facilities (CUF) of the Consortium for Innovation in Materials and Manufacturing, a cooperative agreement funded by the National Science Foundation and the LA Board of Regents. The MMTEF site is still under development and more specific information regarding its capabilities will be forthcomming. In the meanwhile please contact Dimitris Nikitopoulos (medimi@lsu.edu) if you require more information.
