Tutoring | LSU Center for Academic Success

CAS provides FREE tutoring including CAS Shell peer tutoring and NetTutor. Additional resources are available through State of Louisiana Homework Help, and writing help is available from LSU CxC.

Preparing for your tutoring sessions:

  • Bring course materials and notes to each session.
  • Do as much work as you can before engaging a tutor.
  • Determine specific questions you would like to discuss with the tutor

Spring 2022 CAS Shell Peer Tutoring Offerings

Trained peer tutors will provide in person, appointment-based sessions in the LSU Library. Appointments are scheduled in 30 min blocks for individual assistance and 60 min blocks for small group-tutoring. Students can reserve up to two appointment blocks at a time. After each session is completed, students can make additional appointments as needed. Walk-ins also accepted if tutor availability allows.

Questions concerning scheduling and appointment procedures can be directed to the Shell Tutorial Center at 225-578-6757, or by email to mmattox1@lsu.edu.
