Love the Boot Week

As a Keep Louisiana Beautiful Affiliate, LSU will be participating in a litter cleanup event in celebration of Love the Boot Week. Love the Boot Week is Louisiana's largest cleanup and beautification event, hosted by Keep Louisiana Beautiful and held in conjunction with Earth Day activities across the planet.

LSU Campus Sustainability is extending our love for our local lakes by partnering with the Louisiana Stormwater Coalition this year to assist in efforts to clean Capitol Lake.

We will be meeting on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10 am - 12 pm at 1465 Ted Dunham Avenue where the Louisiana Stormwater Coalition will provide guidance on best practices and safety precautions.

We will provide gloves, litter grabbers and trash bags. A water refill station will be on hand.

Please wear boots and long pants and bring your own water bottle. If transportation is needed, please include this information in the registration form, and we will coordinate arrangements.
