Are Masks Required to Board Tiger Trails?

Tiger Trails is a public transportation system and must follow the Federal CDC and FTA guidelines.

All riders must have a mask or some form of face-covering over their nose and mouth in order to board the Tiger Trails transit system and/or vehicles. Customers without face-coverings are subject to denial of boarding, removal, and/or exclusion from the transit system

COVID-19 Transportation Policies and Procedures

Parking and Transportation Services has developed several strategies and procedures following the recommendations of the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) in accordance with the Center for Disease Control (CDC), and state and local guidelines.

We have implemented the following safety and cleaning procedures:

  • Daily cleaning of rails, seats, handles and other areas of the bus with surface disinfectant
  • Bi-Weekly spraying of all buses and vehicles with a cleaning solution proven to kill and prevent the spread of COVID-19
  • Enforcing strict social distancing guidelines
  • Requiring all passengers to wear a mask or face covering
  • Installing a clear safety curtain to separate the bus driver and passenger
  • Installing signs and straps on the buses to enforce social distancing guidelines
  • Requiring all passengers to enter the front of the bus and exit through the back of the bus when applicable
  • Enforcing a maximum capacity on all buses at 50%

NOTE: We are constantly monitoring this policy and updating our policies and procedures to provide our riders and employees with a safe and healthy environment.
