Research Interests

My program of research is focused on understanding the etiology, course, and comorbidity of externalizing psychopathology in childhood, with a particular interest in psychophysiological and dispositional risk factors.Through my research I hope to:

  1. Identify risk factors and/or markers of externalizing behavior, as early in development as possible.
  2. Understand the mechanisms underlying shared etiology and continuity between early childhood symptoms and later psychopathology.
  3. Inform the development of individualized approaches to the treatment of children exhibiting disruptive behaviors.
