Brief Biography

Judith Rhodes has extensive experience in the educational field, including adult education, intervention for youth-at-risk, and non-traditional teaching of home educated k-12 children. Dr. Rhodes served as a volunteer in multiple philanthropic organizations and in the visual and performing arts community before earning a Master’s of Social Work degree in 2007.  While working toward her doctoral degree she was awarded an Economic Development Award and completed her PhD in Social Work in 2011. Judith works in the Office of Social Service Research and Development and teaches courses related to youth-at-risk. Judith is Director of Research for the American Council for School Social Work. Her areas of interest include school dropout prevention, school social work, juvenile delinquency, and educational attainment of youth-at-risk.
