BS in Kinesiology Pre-Athletic Concentration

The Pre-Athletic Training concentration within LSU's BS in Kinesiology is designed for students pursuing careers in athletic training and related health professions. The coursework provides students with a strong foundation in injury prevention, assessment, rehabilitation, and performance optimization for physically active individuals. This concentration equips students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for entry into athletic training graduate programs, as well as careers in sports medicine, rehabilitation, and fitness settings.

Upon graduation, students may seek to continue their education in a professional athletic training program or other allied-health professional programs. For detailed information about LSU’s professional graduate program in athletic training, visit our Master of Science in Athletic Training website.
