Public Administration Student Organizations
The Department of Public Administration offers two program-specific student organizations to graduate students. In addition, it also encourages students to get involved with organizations associated with different majors and the college as a whole.
The Public Administration Student Association (PASA) is a professional student organization for students in the public administration program. PASA provides professional and social activities for students to meet with professional public administrators and political leaders as well as enhances student-faculty relations. PASA also provides information regarding career opportunities in the field of public administration.
The purpose of Pi Alpha Alpha is to encourage and recognize outstanding scholarship and accomplishment in public affairs and administration. Its objectives, such as fostering integrity, professionalism, and effective performance, promote the advancement of quality in the education and practice of the art and science of public affairs and administration. PAA membership identifies those with the highest performance levels in educational programs preparing them for public service careers.
The E. J. Ourso College of Business offers numerous student organizations available to students. These organizations are a great way to connect with students across majors and get involved with the business college itself.
