Full-time academic employees at the rank of Instructor (or equivalent) or above, who have completed six years of service without having received leave with pay, may petition for sabbatical leave for study and research, the object of which is to enable them to increase their professional efficiency and usefulness to the University.

The Faculty Technology Center (FTC) provides IT support, consultations, and innovative solutions to faculty and graduate teaching assistants tailored to their individual teaching, research, and operational needs. Summer Leadership Institute
The Summer Leadership Institute is offered to academic administrators and is designed specifically for academic department chairs and associate deans. The goal is to serve as an opportunity to provide administrators with useful tools for the upcoming academic year and to provide updates on policies and procedures.
Academic Analytics (AA) is a private firm providing data on faculty scholarly activity to PhD‐ granting universities in the US and UK. Founded in 2005 by then‐graduate school dean Lawrence Martin of Stony Brook University, AA has at least 35 AAU and 90 total subscribers plus over 70 employees working from locations throughout the US and UK.
