I’m having problems registering for a Campus Visit. What should I do?

We would be happy to complete the registration process for you to make things easier. In order to register you for a campus visit, please provide the following information to

  • Type of Campus Visit
  • Date & Time of Campus Visit*
  • Student’s Name
  • Student’s Date of Birth
  • Student’s Email Address
  • Full Mailing Address
  • Cell Phone Number
  • High School Name
  • High School Graduation Year
  • Intended Major
  • Number of guests attending (not including the student)

*If the time of the campus visit is not visible on your first preferred visit date, this indicates that the tour is at maximum capacity, and we ask that you select your second preferred date.

I can no longer visit on the date that I am registered. How do I switch my registration to another date?

Call us between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at 225-578-2634 or email us at You will need to provide us with the date you are currently registered for and the date you would like to switch your registration to.

Where should we park on the day of the event?

Your designated parking space will be located in the Union Square Parking Garage on the corner of East Campus Drive and Raphael Semmes Road. Handicapped parking spaces are located on the first level of the Union Square Parking Garage near the elevators. Please see below for specific driving directions to the Union Square Parking Garage.

If you are using a GPS navigation system, enter the intersection of East Campus Drive and Raphael Semmes Road as your destination. Be sure to print the directions below in case your GPS directs you to drive through campus, which is restricted from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

How far is it from the Union Square Parking Garage to the check-in location?

You will check in at the Geaux Center on the first floor of the Student Union, which is located just a short walk across Highland Road from the parking garage.

My student needs an excuse for school. Where should we get one?

All students will receive a school excuse as needed at check-in. If you need a special form filled out for your school, a staff member will be happy to assist you.

What kind of attire is recommended for an LSU Campus Visit?

We suggest casual attire for the event. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended as LSU is a walking campus. Please also check the weather forecast and plan accordingly.
